The original cotton buds were made with wooden sticks. Somewhere along the line, it was replaced by plastic.
Why should a product which is used for less than a minute stay in our landfills and oceans for hundreds of years?
Many countries have already banned plastic cotton buds since eco-friendly replacements are already available. India is planning to ban plastic cotton buds soon.
